He was eloquent and intelligible, a respected speaker both at public conferences and in private conversation with friends or his staff.

In his personal life, Florin's actions were always guided by his principles. He was altruistic to the utmost, recognizing the right time and place to offer help. He would give the last of his money to someone in need without regret; he lent freely without expecting return. He was often surrounded by people, enjoying the company of everyone; he was a good friend, and people from all walks of life felt comfortable with him.
