IMPACT clubs from the Jiu Valley Celebrate the
National Week of Volunteering
IMPACT Youth Clubs of the Jiu Valley are celebrating the National Week of Volunteering (NWV) from May 9-15, 2011. During this special time, the IMPACT clubs will carry out various voluntary community service projects throughout the Jiu Valley. Over 5300 youth “connected to their communities” with the support of New Horizons Foundation, Nokia and International Youth Foundation
“Connect to community” project has inspired over 5300 youth and over 600 adults all over Romania to become agents of change by actively involve and positively transform their communities. Global Youth Service Day 2011 Begins!
Global Youth Service Day (GYSD), the largest community service event in the world, starts today on April 15th.
